One of our goals is to sort out what is good food and what is not, and only offer brands we can trust. Really, there are just a few guidelines in choosing the right food for your dog:
What is the first ingredient? If it lists corn, wheat or soy, pass.
Where on the list of ingredient are animal-based proteins? And vegetables?
Are there unnecessary ingredients?
Sweeteners, artificial ingredients, colorings and crazy stuff you can’t pronounce? If so, reject.
